broccoli and cauliflower
I’ve never eaten such delicious broccoli and cauliflower! A delicious pie recipe!
🛒 Ingredients:
🥦 1 head of broccoli
🥬 1 head of cauliflower
🍅 2 tomatoes
🧀 150g of yellow cheese (e.g., Gouda, Edam – available at Biedronka and Lidl)
🥚 2 eggs
🥛 200ml of fresh cream (30%)
🧂 Salt and pepper to taste I like
🌶️ A pinch of nutmeg
🧄 2 cloves of garlic
🌿 Fresh parsley
👩🍳 Preparation:
1️⃣ Cooking the vegetables:
Separate the broccoli 🥦 and cauliflower 🥬 into florets and cook in salted water for 5 minutes.
Drain and place in a baking dish. 2️⃣ Preparing the sauce:
In a bowl, beat the eggs 🥚, fresh cream 🥛, salt 🧂, pepper, and nutmeg 🌶️.
Add the chopped garlic 🧄 and half of the grated cheese 🧀.
3️⃣ Assembling the casserole:
Arrange the tomato slices 🍅 over the vegetables.
Pour the prepared sauce over everything.
Sprinkle with the remaining cheese 🧀.
4️⃣ Baking:
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25 minutes, until the cheese melts and browns.
5️⃣ Garnishing:
Sprinkle with chopped parsley 🌿 and you’re done!
