I’ve never eaten such delicious broccoli and cauliflower! A delicious pie recipe!

๐Ÿ›’ Ingredients:

๐Ÿฅฆ 1 head of broccoli

๐Ÿฅฌ 1 head of cauliflower

๐Ÿ… 2 tomatoes

๐Ÿง€ 150g of yellow cheese (e.g., Gouda, Edam โ€“ available at Biedronka and Lidl)

๐Ÿฅš 2 eggs

๐Ÿฅ› 200ml of fresh cream (30%)

๐Ÿง‚ Salt and pepper to taste I like

๐ŸŒถ๏ธ A pinch of nutmeg

๐Ÿง„ 2 cloves of garlic

๐ŸŒฟ Fresh parsley

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿณ Preparation:

1๏ธโƒฃ Cooking the vegetables:

Separate the broccoli ๐Ÿฅฆ and cauliflower ๐Ÿฅฌ into florets and cook in salted water for 5 minutes.

Drain and place in a baking dish. 2๏ธโƒฃ Preparing the sauce:

In a bowl, beat the eggs ๐Ÿฅš, fresh cream ๐Ÿฅ›, salt ๐Ÿง‚, pepper, and nutmeg ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ.

Add the chopped garlic ๐Ÿง„ and half of the grated cheese ๐Ÿง€.

3๏ธโƒฃ Assembling the casserole:

Arrange the tomato slices ๐Ÿ… over the vegetables.

Pour the prepared sauce over everything.

Sprinkle with the remaining cheese ๐Ÿง€.

4๏ธโƒฃ Baking:

Bake at 180ยฐC (350ยฐF) for 25 minutes, until the cheese melts and browns.

5๏ธโƒฃ Garnishing:

Sprinkle with chopped parsley ๐ŸŒฟ and you’re done!
